Pre- heat oven at 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, add cubed sweet potatoes, melted butter, oil, salt and pepper, mix until fully combined.
Place on a baking sheet and place in oven for 15 minutes, flipping vegetables over in pan.
In a measuring cup add broth, maple syrup and lemon juice, mix until fully combined. Remove pan from oven and add maple syrup mixture and roast for additional 10 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed, and vegetables have softened.
