Ingredients

  • 1 Package Harvest Fresh Riced Veggie Medley
  • 1 Lb. Ground turkey
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Large Egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce, optional
  • 1 Package Bacon
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven at 375 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet, over medium heat, add oil, add onions sauté until translucent, add garlic cook until fragrant, add riced veggie medley, cook until soft and tender, approx. 5 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste, mix well and, set aside and let cool.
  3. In a bowl, using your hands, combine turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, veggie medley mixture and chili sauce and, mix until all combined.
  4. Form and shape into patties, approx. 3 inches. Wrap a slice bacon around the edge of each patty.
  5. Place bacon patties on baking sheet, and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until patties are golden brown. Remove from heat and serve with your favourite side.
