Ingredients
- 1 Package Harvest Fresh Zucchini Spirals
- 2-3 Harvest Fresh Cipolline Onions, peeled, diced
- 1 Lb. 3 Variety pack Ground veal, beef and pork
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil, divided
- 660mL Basil Tomato Sauce, cooked
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Parsley, to sprinkle
- Bocconcini, sliced topping
Directions
- In a pot, add 1 Tbsp. Oil once heated, add onions sauté until translucent, add garlic, sauté until fragrant. Add ground meat, cook until browned, add salt and Italian seasoning. Once meat is browned, add cooked tomato sauce, cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
- In a skillet, 1 Tbsp. Oil, Zucchini Spirals and cook for 3-5 minutes (depending on desired preference). Salt and pepper to taste.
- Place Zucchini Spirals in a bowl, add meat sauce, mix until combined and top with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley or basil and ready to serve.
