Ingredients
- ½ Package Large Pasta Shells
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- Red pepper flakes, garnish
Kale Super Blend Pesto
- ½ Package Harvest Fresh Kale Super Blend
- 2 Garlic cloves
- ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese
- ¼ Cup Pine Nuts, crushed
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cream Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 Cups Cooking Cream
- 1 ½ Cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Nutmeg, Sprinkle
- Salt to Taste
Directions
- In a food processor or blender, add Kale Super Blend, garlic, parmesan cheese, parsley and salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, add Kale Super Blend Mixture and add crushed pine nuts. Set aside
- In a large pot, boil pasta shells for 5 minutes, cooked al dente. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a Skillet on medium heat, add butter and garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Add cooking cream and bring to a simmer, then add ½ cup parmesan cheese at a time as the cream thickens, constantly stirring. Add a dash of nutmeg and mix together.
- Place Kale Super blend mixture in each Pasta shell. Fill as desired.
- In an oven dish, add cream sauce on bottom of dish, stuffed pasta shells, add remaining sauce on top and cover in foil.
- Place in oven at 350 F for 20 minutes and remove the foil and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until cooked. Top with grated parmesan and red pepper flakes and ready to Serve.
