Ingredients

  • 1 Package Harvest Fresh Spinach
  • 3 Cups Ditali pasta, cooked
  • 2 Cups Pasta Water
  • 1 Cup Cannellini Beans
  • 3 Italian sausages Sweet or Hot, out of casing
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 Cups Tomato Sauce
  • ½ Cup Parmesan cheese, grated,
  • Parmesan Cheese Core, small pieces added in sauce.
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil,
  • ½ Tsp. Red Pepper Flakes, as desired
  • 1Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley, chopped, garnish
  • Parmesan Cheese, Shredded, garnish

Directions

  1. In a skillet add oil, once hot, add sausage, cook until browned, add onions sauté until translucent, add garlic sauté until fragrant, add red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, tomato sauce with parmesan cheese cores, and cannellini beans.
  2. Simmer for 30 minutes, add cooked pasta, pasta water, and spinach, salt and pepper, simmer for 5 minutes, until spinach is wilted, then add parmesan cheese. Mix until combined.
  3. Remove from heat, top with shredded parmesan, parsley and ready to serve.

